Resumen

Given the great concern that authorized vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 lose efficacy and effectiveness, decreasing their abi-lity to prevent COVID-19 due to the variants that exist, the use of phytotherapy remains a relevant issue; therefore, the pre-sent quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study describes the vaccination status and use of phytothe-rapy in university students with COVID-19, to whom an Ad Hoc survey prepared by the authors and validated by 03 experts was applied through the Google Form. It was reported that the majority (55,7%) became ill while vaccinated by resorting to phytotherapy according to ancestral customs.
